40 Years of Girls Chapel Service and Ruby Cocktail Party - April 2021
Thursday, 15 April 2021

The KCOCA and King's College were delighted, after all the delays due to Covid, to finally celebrate 40 Years of Girls attending King's College with a beautiful 40 Years of Girls Chapel Service and fabulous Ruby Cocktail Party held at the College Clubhouse.

We were fortunate to welcome back to the College past Headmaster John Taylor to share his memories in an Address at the Chapel Service as well as Readings from both KCOCA President, Dr Julyan Lawry and current Head Girl, Muriwai Morris. In addition one of our current Taylor girls, Emma Ying, gave a beautiful performance with a harp solo playing the piece ' Fantasie pour Harp' and we were delightfully entertained by our King's College Chapel Choir with their Anthem 'Come by Here' - arrangement by Kyle Pederson.

Following on from the Chapel Service the congregation moved to the College Clubhouse for the 40 Years of Girls Ruby Cocktail Party where champagne, oysters and canapes were waiting to greet them.
