Reunion Weekend Cocktail Party - Welcome Back!

Reunion Weekend - Friday Night - Welcome Back!
We are excited to announce that in 2025, the King's College Old Collegians' Association (KCOCA) will celebrate a significant milestone – our 125th anniversary! As we commemorate "125 Years of Collegians and Community," we look forward to welcoming our Old Collegians to events around the globe to mark this special occasion.
One of the highlights of the 2025 calendar will be the KCOCA Reunion Weekend, set to take place in Auckland from June 13-15. This will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow Old Collegians, particularly those celebrating their 'Decade On' reunions, and to return to the grounds of King's College.
As part of the 125 Year celebrations the theme for this year's Cocktail Party is 'Bowties and Ballgowns'.
We hope our Reunion Groups and guests have some fun with the theme; get creative, hit the thrift shops, incorporate a touch of your House colour, we can't wait to see your stunning looks! If you choose to embrace the theme, you could win a prize for the best outfit inspired by the era of your peer year!
A limited number of vintage KCOCA bowties are available to purchase. If you would like a purchase a bowtie please contact Nicola Davies at: kcoca@kingscollege.com
College tours and a Chapel service will also be available on Friday afternoon and evening and do not require tickets. However, we kindly ask that you let us know if you plan to attend these events so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Tickets for the Cocktail Party are on sale now. Don't miss the chance to be part of this historic celebration!

History Hit:
On 4 August 1900, a group of past King's College students played the College's First XV in a game of rugby. After the game, Headmaster Graeme Bruce, suggested that an Old Boys Association should be formed. Just one month later the first Committee meeting was held, and the King's College Old Boys Association (KCOBA) was established. The name was changed to the King's College Old Collegians' Association (KCOCA) after the inclusion of girls to the College in 1980, but its intent remains the same to this day - to promote and support good fellowship amongst its members along with the best interests of the College. Today the KCOCA is run as a registered charity and is managed by an Executive Committee of volunteers who work hard to ensure there are many ways for our Old Collegians to stay connected with each other and King's College.
