On Thursday 20 October the King's vs Grammar Old Rivals golf match was held at Pakuranga Golf Club. It has been two years since the last match as 2021 was cancelled due to Auckland being in lockdown! A lot of regulars were back with a few new faces which was great to see. Frank Reynold showed typical Kings spirit to fight back from 3 down with 4 holes to play to win his match and James McEnirey clinched his match with partner Nick Sandlant with a 12 foot putt on the 18th! Notable mentions to Nick Le Quesne & Will Kember for making their debuts for the team and securing all 3 points in their pairing. The trophy has been played for since 1933 and in the past 10 years it's been very even with King’s winning 5 & Grammar 4 with lasts year’s winner being COVID!
