On Saturday 26 November, the King's community gathered together to celebrate the King's College graduating Class of 2022 at the annual King's College Graduation Dinner. A special evening in the King's College calendar as it is at this event that the KCOCA welcome a new cohort of King's Collegians' into our Association and present them with their King's Collegian graduation gifts. This year KCOCA President Matt Willis(Averill, 1987-91), thanked the College for the foundation it had laid for the students, and he congratulated the 2022 graduates on the contribution they in return had made to the College, and encouraged them to be confident and proud of their history and connection to the school as they set out into the world to carve a new and independent chapter for themselves. President Willis spoke to the graduates on the mutual benefits of being an Old Collegian and on giving back to the College in due course, "because make no mistake , your school needs you and if you want King's to continue flourishing and improving, it does rely on your involvement at some stage in the future". Finally, he challenged the graduates to get something a bit different into their CV's and how, in an increasingly competitive world, doing something a bit unique and perhaps out of their comfort zone will both enhance their development and help to set them apart from the crowd. "Whatever you end up doing, the KCOCA will always strive to provide you with a familiar and welcoming environment for you to reconnect with your old school and we look forward to following your progress".
